CE Certification

It doesn't matter where the products are marketed for manufacturers. In all cases it is necessary to comply with a standard set to verify that these products are safe for use. For example, products to be marketed in the United States must be approved by the Underwriters Laboratories.

CE Certification

Products to be offered to consumers in Canada must be approved by the Canadian Standards Association. In the European Union countries, a CE Certificate is required for certain products.

Certain products to be marketed within the borders of the European Union must bear the CE Mark, which indicates that they comply with the applicable European standards. The CE Certificate application is valid in all European Union countries, including Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway, and in the EEA European Economic Area. The European Economic Area is a union established in 1994 and allows member states to join the European single market without entering the European Union. Switzerland and Turkey, is not formally a member of the EEA, but which nonetheless joined the CE Mark application.

With the CE Certificate application, the doors of more than 30 countries are opened in Europe.

There is no official organization issuing the CE Certificate. If the products meet the standard requirements and meet the relevant requirements, the manufacturers themselves make this declaration of conformity and affix the CE Mark on the product. In short, the responsibility for verification is entirely over the manufacturing companies.

In this respect, the manufacturers have great responsibility. Because it is not necessarily easy to find the way in the system. For one thing, not all products are CE marked. For example, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and foodstuffs do not require CE certification. However, this does not mean that the products need to be subjected to some kind of legal process to market them within the European Union. Certain legal requirements must be complied with for such products, but these requirements are outside the CE Certification process.

In addition, if the products to be sent to European Union countries meet certain categories, they can also be exempted from CE Certificate application. For example, some antique antiques or products that will be sent and returned to Europe for renewal or resale outside Europe are also outside the CE Certification process.

If the products to be shipped are outside the CE Mark requirements or the general product safety directives, then it is necessary to comply with the legal regulations of each country.

An important point here is that third-party certification services are not required for the products covered by the CE Certificate application. In general, the issue of compliance with the relevant legal remediation principles and relevant standards is an issue that must be investigated and decided by the manufacturer. This responsibility lies with the manufacturing companies. However, manufacturers may obtain such services from independent and independent authorized institutions in order to verify and report that their products comply with the relevant standards and may include these documents in their unique file.

The first step in the CE certification of the products is to determine which of the European Union directives are included in the caspam. For example, toys to be sent to European Union countries must comply with the directives 2009 / 48 / EC, 88 / 378 / EEC and 93 / 68 / EEC. A large number of electronic products must comply with directive 2004 / 108 / EC, which regulates electromagnetic compatibility, and low voltage products with directive 2006 / 95 / EC. Some products may be covered by several directives. In this case, all relevant directive principles should be considered.
